I'd recommend arriving at opening for a more peaceful experience. I'm pretty convinced that their prettiest views are in the beginning of the garden -- the lovely flower gardens, Japanese garden, and the cacti area. I spent a few hours at the Botanical Gardens in Montreal and so enjoyed it! That being said, they don't really have any other exhibits if that's what you're interested in. I spent almost 3 hours here just wandering around. I finally went back recently for the garden of light and it was quite beautiful.
